Tonight at 8 P. M., Justin will undergo a double lung transplant.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he continues his fight with Cystic Fibrosis.

Hang in there Justin!

For last weekend’s broadcast, Anthony Mason of CBS Sunday Morning interviewed Timothy about Match Prints at his New York City studio. The 5-minute segment also includes an interview with the late Jim Marshall, who is shown photographing Bruce Springsteen, as well as footage from the book signing at the John Varvatos store in Soho and the “Match Prints” exhibition opening earlier this year at Staley-Wise Gallery (watch for an appearance by Glenn Close).

I was contacted late last week to help document the launch of Ottawa’s newest radio station, EZ Rock, 99.7 on the dial.
EZ Rock is the newest station in Astral Media’s stable and I was honoured to be asked to cover this extremely fun event. Special thanks to Marc Desrosiers for including me in this project. Thank buddy!
The event was held at the gorgeous  Lago Bar and Grill at the Dows Lake Pavilion on Thursday May 27, 2010 with celebrity look-a-likes Tina Turner, Rod Stewart and Madonna on hand.

To help celebrate the event, The Boogie Wonder Band kept the place dancing all night long.

Len is an accomplished Canadian singer/actor in numerous Broadway shows. He won a Best Actor (Musical) Tony Award in 1979 for “Sweeney Todd”. He was also Tony-nominated in the same category in 1970 for “Applause,” and in 1973 for “A Little Night Music,” a role he recreated in the film version of the same name, A Little Night Music (1977).
He won a Canadian Genie Award for Best Actor in “One Man”.
You may remember him in “About Schmidt” CSI and Law and Order.
Len is married to Heather Summerhayes, daughter of the Founding President for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF), and both her parents are recipients of the Order of Canada in recognition for their work in inaugurating the CCFF. Heather is a professional actress and dancer who resides in New York City with her husband.

In May of 1959 Doug & Donna Summerhayes organized a meeting of more than 100 parents of children with Cystic Fibrosis. At this meeting, they laid the groundwork for what later became The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

In the early years, Doug and Donna traveled throughout Canada, often at their own expense, to raise awareness and help establish local chapters. Doug was the Foundation’s first President and Donna was the first editor of the Foundation’s newsletter.

For their continuous efforts and remarkable achievements, Doug and Donna Summerhayes were awarded the Order of Canada, Donna in 1987 and Doug in 1988. Officially incorporated in 1960, this year marks the 50th anniversary of The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
