Mr. Robert Murray retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after a distinguished Naval career predominantly oriented at flying helicopters, many of them in SIKORSKY 55877, pictured here. These helicopters were initially assigned to ant-submarine squadron and then used in search and rescue operations. Mr. Murray was at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum on Canada Day giving visitors a history on the aircraft and their role in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1955-1980
